Iowa Code § 514I.9: Program benefits.

1. The advisory council shall review the benefits package annually and shall determine additions to or deletions from the benefits package offered. The advisory council shall submit the recommendations to the general assembly for any amendment to the benefits package.

2. Benefits, in addition to those required by rule, may be provided to eligible children by a participating insurer if the benefits are provided at no additional cost to the state.
