Iowa Code § 542B.9: Organization of board — staff.

The board shall elect annually from its members a chairperson and a vice chairperson. The director of the department of inspections, appeals, and licensing shall hire and provide staff to assist the board in implementing this chapter. Meetings shall be called by the director or the director’s designee at the request of the chairperson or four members of the board. At any meeting of the board, a majority of members constitutes a quorum.
