Iowa Code § 99G.32: Department legal representation — lottery.

The department shall retain the services of legal counsel to advise the department and the commission under this chapter and to provide representation in legal proceedings. The department may retain the attorney general or a full-time assistant attorney general in that capacity and provide reimbursement for the cost of advising and representing the commission and the department.
