Iowa Code § 99G.6: Power to administer oaths and take testimony — subpoena.

The administrator or the administrator’s designee if authorized to conduct an inquiry, investigation, or hearing under this chapter may administer oaths and take testimony under oath relative to the matter of inquiry, investigation, or hearing. At a hearing ordered by the administrator, the administrator or the designee may subpoena witnesses and require the production of records, paper, or documents pertinent to the hearing.
