Idaho Code § 54-5809: examinations.

The scope of the examinations for licensure and the methods of procedure shall be prescribed by the board with special reference to the applicant’s general knowledge in the particular practices for which a license is sought and the applicant’s ability to perform the particular work satisfactorily. Examinations shall include both a practical demonstration and a written test.
