105 ILCS 105/4: Response action.

Schools shall undertake and complete such response action as may be required by the federal Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act of 1986, the regulations promulgated thereunder, and the rules promulgated by the Department pursuant to the Asbestos Abatement Act. Response actions shall be undertaken and completed within the timeframe required by the federal Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act of 1986 and the regulations promulgated thereunder.
