105 ILCS 5/29-5.3: Transportation funding study.

The State Board of Education shall, from appropriations enacted for State Fiscal Year 2027, conduct a study on best funding practices for regular, vocational, and special education transportation. The study shall consider, but shall not be limited to, any potential impacts of incorporating the transportation reimbursements currently mandated by this Code into the evidence-based funding formula provided under Section 18-8.15 of this Code.
