110 ILCS 145/30: Application of the Act.

This Act applies only to distance learning programs and does not affect other approvals of institutions of higher learning or programs required under the laws of this State, nor does it affect any exemptions of institutions of higher learning or programs granted by the laws of this State. However, except as required in Section 25 of this Act, any participating institution that remains eligible and in good standing under this Act is not required to obtain any other approval for distance learning required by State law, unless the institution of higher learning withdraws and is removed from this reciprocity program.

Nothing in this Act shall be construed to affect the authority of the Attorney General to enforce the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act and the federal Consumer Financial Protection Act of 2010, as authorized by 12 U.S.C. 5552.
