110 ILCS 153/1-15: Applicability.

This Act applies when military duty presents a conflict with academic status. This Act is not meant as a substitute for poor planning on the part of the service member student. This Act does not apply where there is no conflict between institutional and military service requirements. Nothing in this Act prohibits an institution from acting consistently with established policy and procedure for dealing with misconduct on the part of a service member student.
