If the property transferred under Section 1 is held by the Chicago Park District, subject to or limited by any limitation or restriction, The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois, after its acquisition, may remove such limitation or restriction through purchase, agreement or condemnation. Condemnation proceedings shall be brought and maintained by The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois and shall conform, as nearly as may be, with the procedure provided for the exercise of the right of eminent domain under the Eminent Domain Act.
