20 ILCS 1127/10: Illinois Center for Geographic Information.

Subject to appropriation, the Illinois Center for Geographic Information is created within the Prairie Research Institute at the University of Illinois. The general management, control, and operation of the Center shall be within the University of Illinois. The University of Illinois may provide for a Geographic Information Officer to manage the Center and designate his or her duties and compensation.
