20 ILCS 1710/1710-100: Grants to Special Olympics Illinois.

The Department shall make grants to Special Olympics Illinois for area and statewide athletic competitions from appropriations to the Department from the Special Olympics Illinois Fund, a special fund created in the State treasury. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, on July 1, 2027 or as soon thereafter as practical, the State Comptroller shall direct and the State Treasurer shall transfer the remaining balance from the Special Olympics Illinois Fund into the Special Olympics Illinois and Special Children's Charities Fund. Upon completion of the transfers, the Special Olympics Illinois Fund is dissolved, and any future deposits due to that Fund and any outstanding obligations or liabilities of that Fund shall pass to the Special Olympics Illinois and Special Children's Charities Fund. This Section is repealed on January 1, 2028.
