20 ILCS 3005/2.7: Securities information.

To assist those entities underwriting securities that are payable from State appropriations, whether issued by the State or by others, by providing financial and other information regarding the State to securities investors, nationally recognized securities information repositories, or the federal Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board, and to any State information depository as required by the federal Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and the rules promulgated thereunder. The Governor's Office of Management and Budget is the only State office authorized to provide such information.
