20 ILCS 4114/10: Creation of Illinois America 250 Commission; definition; purpose.

The Illinois America 250 Commission is created. As used in this Act, "Commission" means the Illinois America 250 Commission. The principal purpose of the Commission shall be to plan, promote, and implement appropriate commemoration of the 250th Anniversary of the founding of the United States of America ("Semiquincentennial").
