205 ILCS 670/19.1

Where the licensee repossesses a motor vehicle that was used as collateral and which is used primarily for the obligor's personal, family or household purposes, the licensee shall be subject to the requirements of and shall transfer the certificate of title pursuant to Section 3-114 of the Illinois Vehicle Code.
