CHAPTER 210 HEALTH FACILITIES AND REGULATION
Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Act of 2013.

The Department shall be the sole agency responsible for licensure and shall establish a comprehensive system of licensure for facilities in accordance with this Act for the purpose of:

(1) protecting the health, welfare, and safety of consumers; and

(2) ensuring the accountability for reimbursed care provided in facilities.
