215 ILCS 5/500-5: Scope of Article.

This Article applies to all persons and insurance companies as defined in this Code. This Article does not apply to surplus lines producers licensed pursuant to Section 445 except as provided in Section 500-40 and subsection (b) of Section 500-90 of this Article.
