215 ILCS 5/534.7: Affiliate.

An "affiliate" of a specified person means a person who directly, or indirectly through one or more intermediaries, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the specified person on December 31 of the year next preceding the date the insolvent company became an insolvent company.
