This Act takes effect July 1, 2013, except that this Section, Section 175, Section 180, and the amendatory changes to Sections 2 and 3 of the Sex Offender Registration Act take effect on January 1, 2013, the other amendatory changes to Section 3-5 of the Sex Offender Registration Act, the amendatory changes to the Sexually Dangerous Persons Act, and the amendatory changes to the Sexually Violent Persons Commitment Act take effect July 1, 2014.
