225 ILCS 235/3.07

"Pests" include arthropods (insects, spiders, mites, ticks and related pests), wood infesting organisms, rats, mice, nuisance birds and any other obnoxious or undesirable animals in, on or under structures, but does not include bacteria or other micro-organisms on or in living man or other living animals.
