The Director of the Office of Mines and Minerals within the Department of Natural Resources shall be the executive officer of the Mining Board and shall execute the orders, rules and regulations made and promulgated by the Mining Board. The Manager of the Office of Mines and Minerals may act as executive officer in the absence of the Director of the Office of Mines and Minerals.
