225 ILCS 720/2.10: Periodic Review of Permits.

The Department shall review outstanding permits and may require reasonable revision or modification of the permit provisions during the term of such permit if necessary to insure that the mining operation will comply with all requirements of this Act. The Department shall make such reviews not later than the middle of the term of the permit. Such revision or modification shall be based on written findings and shall be subject to notice and hearing requirements established by the Department by rule.
