CHAPTER 225 PROFESSIONS, OCCUPATIONS, AND BUSINESS OPERATIONS
Illinois Oil and Gas Act.

In case any person drilling an oil or gas well shall request a location over a portion of the coal where mining operations have not heretofore been conducted and where coal is in place, then said well shall be drilled and sunk with due regard for the plans for future development and extensions of said seams.
