30 ILCS 440/13: Severability and inseverability.

If any provision of this Act or its application to any person or circumstance is held invalid, the invalidity of that provision or application does not affect other provisions or applications of the Act that can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, except that this Act is inseverable to the extent that if all or any substantial and material part of Sections 1 through 12 are held invalid, then the entire Act (including both new and amendatory provisions) is invalid.
