30 ILCS 740/2-2.07

"Rural Transportation Assistance - Demonstration Project" means the provision of public transportation service to rural areas in Illinois, designated by the Department, which are not within the boundaries of a participant, for the purpose of providing such service on a regular and continuing basis to the general public with special needs in the rural areas throughout the State.
