305 ILCS 5/5-55: Reimbursement for music therapy services.

Subject to federal approval, for dates of service beginning on and after July 1, 2027, the Department shall reimburse music therapy services provided by licensed professional music therapists. To be eligible for reimbursement under this Section, music therapy services must be provided by a licensed professional music therapist authorized to practice under the Music Therapy Licensing and Practice Act.
