40 ILCS 5/12-158: Board officers.

The board shall elect from its membership a president, a vice president and a secretary, all of whom shall serve without salary, except that the secretary, if not an employee as defined herein, may be compensated during his tenure in the office of secretary in an amount not to exceed $2,400 per year.
