40 ILCS 5/19-218: Annuities exempt from execution - Assignments prohibited.

All annuities granted under the provisions of "The 1905 Act" or this Division shall be exempt from attachment and garnishment process, and no annuitant shall have the right to transfer or assign his or her annuity, either by way of mortgage or otherwise.
