40 ILCS 5/20-103: Effective date.

"Effective date": July 1, 1955, or in the case of any retirement system becoming subject to the provisions of "The 1955 Act" or this Article after such date, the date when such retirement system comes under the provisions of "The 1955 Act" or this Article.
