40 ILCS 5/3-108.1: Dependent parent.

"Dependent parent": A parent who furnishes satisfactory proof that the deceased police officer at the time of his or her death was the sole support of the parent or that the parent was the dependent of the deceased police officer for federal income tax purposes.
