410 ILCS 655/35: Safe Bottled Water Fund.

(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2028)

The Safe Bottled Water Fund is established as a special fund in the State treasury. All moneys received by the Department under this Act shall be deposited into the fund. Moneys in the fund shall be used by the Department, upon appropriation, for the purpose of administering this Act.

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, in addition to any other transfers that may be provided by law, on July 1, 2027 or as soon thereafter as practical, the State Comptroller shall direct and the State Treasurer shall transfer the remaining balance from the Safe Bottled Water Fund into the Food and Drug Safety Fund. Upon completion of the transfers, the Safe Bottled Water Fund is dissolved, and any future deposits due to that Fund and any outstanding obligations or liabilities of that Fund pass to the Food and Drug Safety Fund.

This Section is repealed on January 1, 2028.
