410 ILCS 707/60: Immunity.

Except for willful or wanton misconduct, a person employed by the Department shall not be subject to criminal or civil liability for taking any action under this Act within the scope of his or her employment. Representation and indemnification of Department employees shall be provided as set forth in Section 2 of the State Employee Indemnification Act.
