430 ILCS 50/8.03

Any person or entity who violates any provision of this Act, or any ordinance, rule, regulation or order made pursuant to this Act, shall be liable for a civil penalty of not to exceed $10,000 for each violation, and an additional civil penalty of not to exceed $1,000 for each day during which violation continues.
