430 ILCS 75/7: Deputy Inspectors.

The Office of the State Fire Marshal shall employ Deputy Inspectors who shall be responsible to the Chief Inspector and who shall have had at time of appointment not less than 5 years practical experience in the construction, maintenance, repair, or operation of high pressure boilers and pressure vessels as a mechanical engineer, steam engineer, boilermaker, or boiler inspector and shall have passed the examination provided for in Section 9 of this Act.
