50 ILCS 310/10

This Act does not relieve any officer of any other duties required by law of him with respect to the auditing of public accounts or the disbursement of public funds. Failure of the governing body of any governmental unit to comply with the provisions of this Act does not affect the legality of taxes levied for any of the funds of such governmental unit.
