55 ILCS 5/3-14028: Chairman and secretary.

The civil service commission shall select one of their own number to act as chairman and one as secretary. The secretary shall keep the minutes of its proceedings, preserve all reports made to it, keep a record of all examinations held under its direction and perform such other duties as the commission shall require.
