625 ILCS 5/1-115.05: Department.

The Department of Transportation of the State of Illinois, acting directly or through its duly authorized officers and agents, except that: (i) in Chapter 5 and Articles X and XI of Chapter 3 of this Code, "Department" means the Department of Revenue of the State of Illinois; and (ii) in Chapter 18B, "Department" means the Illinois State Police.
