Illinois Vehicle Code.

Illegal operation of an ambulance or rescue vehicle - Penalty. A person who operates an ambulance or rescue vehicle in violation of Section 11-1421 shall be subject to the penalty prescribed by the applicable law, regulation or ordinance of this State or any political subdivision thereof.
