625 ILCS 5/18a-102: Local regulation.

Nothing contained in this Chapter shall be construed to infringe upon the right of non-home rule units of local government to regulate the commercial relocation of vehicles in a manner consistent with, or in addition to, State or federal laws or regulations. Nothing in this Chapter shall constitute a limitation on the authority of any home rule unit; however, the provisions of this Chapter shall remain in full force and effect in home rule units notwithstanding any applicable ordinances of home rule units.
