Dealers, manufacturers, engine and driveline component manufacturers, transporters, and repossessors; registration plates. Dealers, manufacturers, and transporters registered under this Code may obtain registration plates for use as provided in this Code at the following rates:

Initial set of dealer's, manufacturer's, or transporter's "in-transit" plates: $45

Duplicate Plates: $13

Manufacturers of engine and driveline components registered under this Code may obtain registration plates at the following rates:

Initial set of "test vehicle" plates: $94

Duplicate plates: $25

Repossessors and other persons qualified and registered under Section 3-601 of this Code may obtain registration plates at the rate of $45 per set.
