65 ILCS 5/10-4-2.5: Access to obstetrical and gynecological care.

The corporate authorities of all municipalities are subject to the provisions of Section 356r of the Illinois Insurance Code. The requirement under this Section that health care benefits provided by municipalities comply with Section 356r of the Illinois Insurance Code is an exclusive power and function of the State and is a denial and limitation of home rule municipality powers under Article VII, Section 6, subsection (h) of the Illinois Constitution.
