65 ILCS 5/11-29.1-10

Any person who has been issued a statement of any sum due for maintenance charges for a mentally deficient person may petition the board of directors for a modification thereof, and the board shall provide for a hearing thereon. The board may, after such hearing, grant such relief as seems proper.
