65 ILCS 5/11-37-4

In a municipality which has established an electrical inspection department, any wilful failure or refusal to comply with the ordinance specified in Section 11-37-3 constitutes a petty offense punishable upon conviction by a fine of not less than $5 nor more than $50 for each offense.
