65 ILCS 5/11-46-2

Each art commission shall consist of the mayor of the city by virtue of his office and 6 other members to be appointed by the mayor. Three of these 6 members shall be appointed from one or more of the professions of painting, sculpture, architecture, and landscape gardening, but none of the 3 other members shall be appointed from these enumerated professions.
