65 ILCS 5/11-80-1

All provisions of this Code relating to the control of streets, alleys, sidewalks and all other public ways are subject to the provisions of "The Illinois Vehicle Code", as now and hereafter amended, and the Illinois Highway Code, as now and hereafter amended.
