65 ILCS 5/8-12-10

Any State agency or unit of local government, within its respective function, may render such services to the Authority as the Authority may request. Upon the Authority's request any such agency or unit of local government may transfer to the Authority such officers and employees as the Authority and any such agency or unit of local government deem necessary to carry out the Authority's functions and duties. Officers and employees so transferred shall not lose or forfeit their employment status or rights.
