The following offices and places of employment, insofar as there are or may be such in such Park District, shall not be included within the classified service: Park commissioners, all elective officers, the general superintendent, one confidential clerk or secretary, the chief engineer, the general attorney, the planetarium director, the superintendent of employment and special examiners appointed by the superintendent of employment.
