If the court orders the dissolution of the sanitary district, there shall be no further appointments for trustees. The officers acting at the time of this order shall close up the business affairs of the sanitary district, and make the necessary conveyances of the title to the sanitary district property in accordance with the intergovernmental agreement between the sanitary district and the successor municipality.
