CHAPTER 70 SPECIAL DISTRICTS
Local Mass Transit District Act.

Every District shall be exempt from all State, county and municipal taxes and registration and license fees. All property of a District is declared to be public property devoted to an essential public and governmental function and purpose and shall be exempt from all taxes and special assessments of the State or by any subdivision thereof.
