70 ILCS 605/7-5: Payment of expenses incident to report.

The commissioners may use general funds of the main district not otherwise committed and not in excess of $2,000 to pay the necessary expenses incident to the preparation of their report, but if the subdistrict is organized and an assessment levied therein, the subdistrict shall reimburse the main district for any funds so expended.
